      GigE and 3x ASI ports for PCIe

      DekTec's Gigabit Ethernet adapter with three ASI/SDI ports, allowing zero-jitter transmission and reception of Transport Streams over IP networks; the additional three ASI ports allow easy conversion between the two interface types.

      The DTA-2160 is still in production but is coming toward the end of its life cycle. Therefore, the DTA‑2160 is not recommended for new designs.
       

      Features

      • Simultaneous zero-jitter transmission and reception of multiple Transport Streams over IP networks.
      • With time-stamping of incoming IP packets for IP jitter analysis and two-dimensional FEC generation for outgoing packets, with programmable D and L, a perfect solution for network optimization.
      • Three independent software controllable bi-directional BNC ports, operable in ASI or SDI mode, with individual status LEDs.


      Applications

      • IP jitter analysis using DtJitter.
      • Using the StreamXpert and DtJitter software multiple TS over IP streams can be individually monitored and analyzed.
      • For a 24/7 monitoring solution unlimited (limited to the available bandwidth) IP ports can be used by the Xpect software.
      • In combination with MuxXpert you can real-time multiplex streams.
